RESOLUTION No. 08- b) � -CC
WHEREAS, the following Grant County funds do not have an adequate 1eve1 of budget
appropriation to inake a11 necessary expenditures:
Grant Mental Healthcare Fund #108, Department #150 in the amount of $64,600.00 for Lobby
Construction, Tools and Equipment, Panic System, Fencing, and Community Frameworlcs
Project missed in the 2008 budgeting cycle
Sheriff's Office Fund #001, Department #115 in the amount of $30,000.00 to purchase a new
vehicle for the inmate litter crew using a grant fi�om the Department of Ecology
Sheriff's Office Fund #001, Department #114 in the amount of $67,935.00 to purchase a new jet
boat using a grant from the WA State Parlcs Department. The County is required to meet this
purchase at 25%.
V6'HEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2008 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of March, 2008 at 9:30 am, a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, B� IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOA1�D OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STA'TE OF WASHINGTOl�, that a
budget appropriation in the total ainount of $162,535.00 to be allocated to the 2008 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
