WHEREAS, Grant County Sheriff's Office does not have an adequate level of budget
appropriation to make the following expenditures:
1. Fund#001, Department#141 in the amount of$15,000.00 due to additional revenue
generated in January, and request purchase a replacement boat motor for their marine �
unit using these funds. The motor will be purchased from Valley Marine of Yakima.
2. Fund#001, Department#141 in the amount of$102,320.00 for the software and
hardware repair and upgrade for the operation o�their touchscreen master control
panels in the main office of the Sheriff and Jail.
3. Fund#001, Department#141 in the amount of$7,200.00 to receive anticipated
additional revenues for the month of February and for the software upgrade and
associated license for the operation of their Crossmatch Live Scan Fingerprint
machine in the main office of the Sheriff and Jail.
4. Fund#001, Department#141 in the amount of$60,000.00 from the County Road
Fund to the Sheriff's Office Capital Expenditures budget for the purchase of 2-Patrol
Motorcycles and associated equipment for use in their Motor Traffic Unit.
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2015 budget; and '

W�IEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to �
authorize additional budget appropriations. �
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of April, 2015 at 3:00 p.m., a public hearing was held in the 'i
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room. !i

NOW,THEREFOItE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF i
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF VVASHINGTON,that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of$184,520.00 to be allocated to the 2015 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items: �
