ORDINANCE 2356
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 39.33.010, Grant County, a political subdivision of
the State of Washington, acting through its Board of County Commissioners, recognizes the
benefits of transferring jurisdiction of portions of county roads and right-of-ways, namely
that portion of Ordinance 2356 not listed in the Jurisdictional Transfer Resolution 2007-
174-CC AFN 1228264 as described below and as shown in Exhibit A;

THAT PORTION OF KITTLESON ROAD 40050 MP 2.01 to 2.3 SECTIONS 25 &36 IN
TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH RANGE 28 EAST W.M.; AND
NORTH FRONTAGE RD 43520 MP 13.22 to 14.38 SECTION36 IN TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH
RANGE 28 EAST W.M.AND SECTION 31 IN TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH RANGE 29 EAST

WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works and the City of Moses Lake have previously
agreed to work towards the transfer of jurisdiction of said Rights-of-Way, and
WHEREAS, the County Engineer recommends the Grant County Board of Commissioners
proceed with the jurisdiction transfer as mutually agreed, per 39.33.010, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Grant County Board of
Commissioners transfer jurisdiction of those portions of Road Right-of-Way to the City of
Moses Lake, to become effective immediately.
