RESOLUTIOl�i DECLARING PERSONAL RESOLUTION No. 15- � ��CC
PROPERTY SURPLUS FOR
DISPOSITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of County
Commissioners has the authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the
county is surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office, owns 4 — Ruger AC556 .223 machine �,
guns (Serial Nos. 191-04047/04109/04111/and 04046) and 1-Ruger Min-14 .223 rifle (Serial No. I
181-14508)parts only; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sherif�'s Office has determined that these machine guns
are no longer needed; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office has requested that the Grant County
Board of County Commissioners declare such machine guns to be surplus to the needs of the
county; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the declaration of such machine guns as surplus property, the
Grant County Sheriff's Office has gone through the process to sell these machine guns and have �
awarded them to David Spiwalc of Bloomsburg, PA who was the highest bidder in the amount of
$28,000.00.
NOW, T�-IEREFORE, BE IT HERE�Y RESOLi�ED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as suiplus the above named machine guns and rifle, and that all right title
and interest in such guns be conveyed to David Spiwak of Bloomsburg, PA.
