RESOLUTION TO DECLAR� SURPLUS RESOLUTION No. 13-U��-CC �
GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE i
QTY.75- .40 CALIB�R PISTOLS i

WHEREAS,The Grant County Sheriff s Office owns 75 - .40 Caliber Pistols they wish to �
surplus: 68-Sig-Sauer SP2340's and 7-Smith and Wesson 4006's; and �
�
WHEREAS, The Sheriff"s Office has determined that these weapons have had thousands of �
rounds shot through them and feel it is time to move forward with a new agency issued firearm before
these weapons no longer hold any value; and ',

WHEREAS,It is the intent of the Sheriff's Office to sell these units to Gunarama Wholesale Inc. �
(Spokane)and Old World Trading(Ephrata) and use the proceeds to purchase 40-new Glock .40 and !
9mm caliber pistols, extra magazines, security holsters and attached lighting; and
WHEREAS, The Sheriff s Office is requesting that the Board of County Commissioners declare �
surplus the 75 units. i

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above weapons with the intent as listed above. '
