A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Stevens, to approve items 1 �
through 5 on the ASC Agenda as presented. The motion passed unanimously, !

1. Contract renewal (Account#1003823041) between Grant County, by and through the Grant j
County Department of Public Defense, and WEST(a Thomson Reuters business) ;
subscription/access to Westlaw. Term is for 36 months, (Approved) ��
2. Amendment#4 to Grant County Coalition Shoreline Master Program Update,which �
increases the budget by$42,800,for Anchor QEA work. (Approved) �
3. Domestic Violence Legal Advocacy grant contract#S14-311a-009 between the Washington I
State Department of Commerce, Office of Crime Victims Advocacy, and Grant Integrated i
Services' New Hope SA/DV.This is for a $24,000 grant with an ending term of June 30, 2014. I

4. Grant County Request for Reimbursement No. 13 on CDBG Public Services Grant No. 12- !
65400-002 with the Department of Commerce and administered through the OIC of 1
Washington in the amount of$10,635.31. (Approved) !
5. Washington State Department of Commerce Community Development Block(CDBG) I
Program, Public Services Grant, Contract No. 13-65400-005 (2013-2014). Grant funds are
for services administered to low and moderate income persons in Grant and Adams
counties through the OIC of Washington in the amount of$127,253.00 with a term of July 1,
2013 through June 30, 2014. (Approved)

As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the �
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the 1
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of$694,280.22 and $1,034,481.37, as
recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.

The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a budget extension request �
from Grant County Emergency Management in the amount of$5,134.27 to receive an increase I
in funding from the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council (EFSEC)grant and purchase �
5-Personal Radiation Monitors and 8-Pelican Cases using these funds.
�
Commissioner Swartz moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing. Commissioner I
Stevens seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Stevens moved uphold �
the recommendation of the Assessor's Office and approve the Open Space application as
presented. Commissioner Swartz seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing
adjourned. (Approved, Resolution No. 13-036-CC) �
