RESOLUTION DECLARING PERSONAL RESOLUTION No. 13- (�� 1 -CC
PROPERTYSURPLUS
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board af County
Commissioners has authority to determine whether real or personal property owned by the
county is surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the RCW 36.34.130, the Grant County Board of County
Commissioners ma� dispose of county property to another governmental agency upon such
terms as may be agreed upon and for such consideration as may be deemed by the Board of
County Commissioners to be adequate; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Fairgrounds is the current owner of one 1970 Ford Fire
Truck (VIN #C90LVK15130). The Grant County Fairgrounds has determined that the fire truck
is no longer suitable to the needs of the Grant County Fairgrounds; and
WHEI�AS, the Grant County Fairgrounds has requested that the Grant County Board
of Commissioners declare such Ford Fire Truck to be surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the declaration of such Ford Fire Truck, as surplus property,
it is the desire of the Grant County Fairgrounds that ownership of the Ford Fire Truck be
conveyed and otherwise sold to another governmental agency, the Soap Lalce Police Department,
for use and/or other disposition at their discretion; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.050, the Grant County Board of Commissioners
has, according to available information used to determine fair marlcet value, set a minimum sale
price on Fire Truck in the amount of$1.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declares as surplus the above named 1970 Ford Fire Truck (VIN
#C90LVK15130) and that all right title and intarest in such Fire Truck be conveyed and
otherwise sold to another governmental agency, the Soap Lake Police Department, for use and/or
other disposition at their discretion.
