Pursuant to RCW 42.3o.iio (i)(i) Commissioner Swartz called the session to order at 9:05 a.m. to
go until 9:i2 a.m. Commissioner Carter closed the session at 9:i2 a.m.

A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Stevens, to approve
items x through i1, and item 13 on the ASC Agenda as presented below. Item 12 did not arrive for
signature. The motion passed unanimously.

Possible vouchers for Interfund Communications, insurance, and/or grant
administration. (Approved)
201� Grant County Sheriff Towing Contract between Grant County, by and through
the Grant County sheriff's Uffice, and Jeffs Towing and Recovery. Period of
performance is January i, 2ox1 to December 31, 2o1i. (Approved)
Special Counsel Contract between Grant County and Ripley Law Firm, Inc. P.S. for
the performance and/or rendering of legal assistance and advice relative to
professional disciplinary matters involving the Grant County Prosecuting Attorney
and/or any deputy appointed by the Grant County Prosecuting Attorney, and the
Washington State Bar Association or any other agency or organization claiming
authority to govern professional conduct of same. Term is December i, 2oio through

Open Record Public Hearing, Petition to Vacate Rd 23-NE
The Comrnissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing regarding a petition from Jim
Chamberlain Enterprises, LLC and JK Farms Phase One, LLC to vacate a certain county road
known as 23-NE in the SE quarter of S 4, T 22 N, R 2� E, W M and in the NE quarter of S o, T 22
N, R 27 E, W M and the south half of S g, T 22 N, R z� E, W M, and the north half of S io, T 22 N,
R 2� E, WM. Derek Pohle, Public Worizs Director read into the record his Engineers Report. He
finds that this section of county road is not useful to the public and the public would be benefited
by this vacation and abandonment. Vance Burcic, agent for the proponent, spolce in favor of the
vacation. Commissioner Carter moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing.
Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Stevens
moved to grant the vacation as presented. Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed
