The Commissioners signed the letters of appointment for the Fair Advisory Committee, appointed March

As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until March 15,

Budget Extension
The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing regarding a budget extension for the
following funds:

Sheriff's Office Fund #6,674.00, Department #i5i in fihe amount of $6,674.0o to purchase a
Copy Machine for their INET office. Funds being used are assets seized and forfeited as
proceeds of drug sales; and
Grant County Veterans Assistance Fund #�04, Department #15,000.0o in the amount of
$i5,000.00 due to an increase in claims and to be able to increase the Veterans yearly
household cap amount to $750.00. Funds will be increased using their reserve account.
Commissioner Carter moved to close the public connment portion of the hearing. Commissioner
Stevens seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the
budget extension as presented. Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed unanimously.

Change
The Cornmissioners held a Closed Record Public Hearing regarding a Minor Zone Change
application from Leo and Karen Heilman for a parcel with approximately 1.9if acres. The Minor
Rezone will consist of changing the zoning from Urban Residential g to Urban Residential2 in
order to reflect the change in the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation a result of a land use
re-designation decision made March 1, 2004. The subject area address is 7679 Wild Goose Lane
NE (Cascade Valley), Moses Lake, WA and in a portion of Section i7, Township 19 N, Range 28 E,
W.M., Grant County, WA (Parcel #12-ii26-3i4). Commissioner Stevens moved to uphold the
recommendation of the Planning Commission and approve the application as presented
recognizing the io Findings of Fact. Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed with
