RESOLUTION DECREASING THE RESOLUTION No. 10- 0 8- C
ASSESSMENT RATE FOR TURNKEY
LIGHTING DISTRICT FOR 2011 TO
S22.00 PER PARCEL
WHEREAS, Resolution 02 -193 -CC approved the formation of the Turnkey Lighting
District; and
WHEREAS, the Order set forth that the amount of the annual assessment for the LID
was to be determined by Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County; and
WHEREAS. Resolution 04 -006 -CC set the assessment rate for 2004 at $30.00 per
parcel; and in 2005 a public hearing was held and the rate was further decreased to $20.00 for
2005; Resolution No. 09 -102 -CC increased the assessment to $24.00; and
WHEREAS, the current assessment of $24.00 per taxable parcel has been deemed by the
Grant County Treasurer as insufficient to cover 2011 payments; and
WHEREAS, the Treasurer has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners to
decrease the 2011 tax assessment from $24.00 per parcel to $22.00 per parcel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County
Treasurer use these figures for the assessment rate in all future assessment rolls of RID No. 02-1
until further order of the Board.
