A RESOLUTION OF GRANT COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING AN
INTERFUND LOAN FROM THE SOLID
WASTE FUND NO. 401 TO THE GENERAL
FUND NO. 001 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $500,000.00.
RESOLUTION No. 10- 61 CC
WHEREAS, funds are needed by the General Fund to purchase hardware, tax and assessment
software for the Grant County Treasurer and Assessor to provide annual property tax assessments, and
WHEREAS, Grant County expects the loan to be repaid by a grant from the State of Washington
as authorized in Section
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE CO]
THE COUNTY OF GRANT, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. A loan in the amount not to exceed $500,000.00 is hereby authorized from the Solid
Waste Fund No. 401 to the General Fund No. 001. The loan shall be repaid from a grant from the
State of Washington, or other authorized funds, by December 31, 2012. Interest shall be at the
rate of 2.0 percent per annum.
Section 2. The County Auditor is authorized to advance funds from the Solid Waste Fund No.
401 to the General Fund No. 001 as authorized by Section I of this resolution for the purpose of
purchasing hardware and tax assessment software for the Grant County Treasurer and Assessor.
The County Auditor is authorized and directed to repay sums advanced immediately from monies
received on a quarterly basis from the state grant, plus interest, as required in Section 1.
