RESOLUTION No. 10- Us "-CC
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office Fund #001, Department # 114 does not have an
adequate level of budget appropriation to make the following necessary expenditures:
1. Purchase of a Kustom Eagle Plus Radar unit in the amount of $1,000.00 using
funds from the Washington Association of Sheriff's and Police Chiefs (WASPC)
"Emergency Traffic Safety Funds" grant: and
2. Wages and benefits, overtime, good and services, travel and training
expenditures in the amount of $49,002.00 using a reimbursement grant from the
Washington State Department of Commerce, pass through from the Department
of Justice.
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing the 2010
budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to authorize
additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of August, 2010 at 10:30 am, a public hearing was held in the Grant
County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a budget
appropriation in the total amount of $50,002.00 to be allocated to the 2010 budget according to the
following schedule of categories and items:
