Possible vouchers for Interfund Communications, insurance, The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 8:3o a.m. with all the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. and/or grant administration. 2. Anticipating this week: 2010 Grant County Fair Management Agreement between Grant County and the Grant County Fair Association, Inc. concerning aspects of operation and production of the Grant County Fair and Spring Fair/ Home Show. 3. Geographic Information Interlocal Agreement between Grant County and King County, for Geographical Information System resource sharing, Term is June 14, 2010 to June 14, 2011 with a one-year renewal option annually. 4. Working Agreement between Grant County Sheriff's Office and Grant County Deputy sheriff's Association, January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010. 5. Housing Authority of Grant County's Homeless Grant Assistance Program (HGAP) Request for Reimbursement No. 2 in the amount of S8,461.93. 6. R Renken, U.S. Honor Flag Update The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 8:3o a.m. with all the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. BOCC ACTION A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to approve items 3 through 6 on the ASC Agenda. Items 1 and 2 were not acted upon as they were not received. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider an application for Open Space application from Gary A. and Dominique Bracht for Classification or Reclassification of 3.00 -acres as Open Space Land for Current Use Assessment under Chapter 84.34 RCW. Location of the proposal is a portion of Farm Unit 166, Block 71, in S 33, T 20, R 26 E, W M (Parcel No. 20-03o6-002). Commissioner Stevens moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing. Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. Commissioner Stevens moved to uphold the Planning Commission recommendation and approve the application as presented, recognizing the 10 Findings of Fact. Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.o8o, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $498,792.67, $647.56, and $642,803.16 , as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. The Commissioners signed the Payroll Pick -Up sheet for June 10, 2010. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until June 15, 2010. CONSENTAGENDA Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Commissioner Swartz seconded and the motion passed unanimously, as presented below: COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE: Commissioners Office Vouchers Central Safety Committee request to allow local law enforcement officers and Regional Tactical Response Team (TRT) to access the Courthouse campus and facilities through out the summer and fall to become familiar with the facilities. SHERIFF'S OFFICE Request for out of state travel for Chief Deputy Pete McMahon and Lieutenant Dan Durand to attend a Bureau of Justice Assistance Rural Training and Technical Assistance Conference in Oklahoma City, OK on .July 12 and 13, 2010. BID OPENING. RD R -NE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT CRP NO. io-oi The following bids were received: L Halme Construction $1,395,1o6.04 2. Copenhaver Construction $1,028,174.8o 3. James Dean Construction $1,287,772.43 A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Swartz, to turn over the bids to Public Works for their review and recommendation. The motion passed unanimously. After review by the Public Works Department, the Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Director to award this bid to Tommer Construction in the amount listed above. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign the Kurt C. Edinger (Kurt C. Edinger Short Plat) File #o9- 5319 -o1, Final Plat Submission and Review. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until June 21, 2010.
