RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION No. 07 -/0'< -CC
GRANT COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT NO. 12 AND THE CITY OF
KRUPP
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 52.04 061, the City of Krupp adopted Ordinance Nos. 112
and 113 stating its intent to initiate the annexation of the City of Krupp into and to join Grant
County Fire Protection District No. 12 and finding that the public interest will be served by
the annexation; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 52.04.061, the Board of Commissioners of Grant County
Fire Protection District No. 12 adopted Resolution Nos. 2007-02 and 2007-03 stating its intent to
initiate the annexation of the City of Krupp into Grant County Fire Protection district No. 12 and
finding that the public interest will be served by the annexation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Krupp and Grant County Fire Protection District No. 12 have
transmitted notification of their concurrence to the Grant County Board of Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, RCW 52.04.071 provides that the legislative authority shall by resolution
call an election on the annexation to be held in the city and in the fire protection district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners, pursuant
to RCW 52.04 071, that the Grant County Auditor is hereby requested to call and conduct a
special election to be held in conjunction with the general election scheduled for November
6, 2007, and to submit the proposition set forth below to the qualified electors of the City of
Krupp and Grant County Fire Protection District No. 12:

ANNEXATION OF THE CITY OF KRUPP
Shall the city of Krupp be annexed to and be a part of Grant
County Fire Protection District No 12?
