RESOLUTION No. 07- /q -CC
WHEREAS, the following funds do not have an adequate level of budget appropriation to make
all necessary expenditures
• Sheriff s Office Fund #001, Dept #114 in the amount of $3,243 00 to purchase a
2002 Dodge Intrepid
• Sheriffs Office Fund #121, Dept #163 in the amount of $29,000.00 to cover the
yearly cost of liability insurance for the Maximum Security Facility
• Sheriff s Office Fund #109, Dept #151 in the amount of $32,721.00 to purchase
equipment.
• Facilities and Maintenance Fund #001, Dept #141 in the amount of $6,500.00 to
purchase a snow plow
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing the 2007
budget, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36 40 140 a public hearing must be held to authorize
additional budget appropriations;
WHEREAS, on the 31 st day of July, 2007, at 9:30 am, a public hearing was held in the Grant
County Commissioners" Hearing Room
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a budget
appropriation in the total amount of $71,464.00 be allocated to the 2007 budgets according to the
following schedule of categories and items
