RESOLUTION INCREASING THE RESOLUTION No. 07- 467 -CC
CHANGE FUND FOR THE CLERK'S
OFFICE
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
that the change fund in the Clerk's Office, Fund #001, Department #105, needs to be increased;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 94 -93 -CC dated July 26, 1994 established this fund in the
amount of $100.00;
WHEREAS, the amount of $100 00 has been demonstrated to be insufficient;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON,
increase Fund #001, Department #105, Change Fund, to the amount of $200.00, for the purpose
of making change in the Grant County Clerk's Office.

The Grant County Clerk hereby requests the increase of the cash drawer fund from $100 to $200.
The increased volume of passport fees accepted necessitates this change Passport customers are
frequently asked to wait while change is retrieved from the bank. The fee fol passports is $30,
and many customers apply for a passport in pairs This fee is very often paid in cash. The
customer will give the clerk a $100 bill to pay for two passport fees totaling $60 If this is after
the closing out of our register, the change in our cash diawei is almost half depleted immediately
after this transaction This makes it difficult to make change for the next customers in line, if
necessary.

RESOLUTION NUMBER 94 -93 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the establishment of a change fund for the following
county department: CLERKS DEPARTMENT #105, CURRENT EXPENSE, to be
called :CLERK'S CHANGE FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County
Commissioners that a change fund should be established as set forth hereinbelow:
and
WHEREAS, the establishment of said fund is in accordance with state and
county laws and does not require a public budget hearing:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, as follows:
1. That a petty cash/revolving fund (account) to be known as Clerk's
Change Fund, is hereby established in the amount of $100.00 for the
following county department: Clerk's Department #105, Current Expense
Fund #001.
2. That the head of said county department shall be custodian of said fund,
