IN THE MATTER OF CLOSING A RESOLUTION NO.
PORTION OF A CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD INTENT TO CLOSE AND
NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, considered a
request to close to vehicular thru-traffic a certain county road and by this resolution entered upon it's
minutes, declared its intention to close to vehicular thru-traffic a certain county road described as follows:
Legal Description: AT A POINT, COUNTY ROAD VIEWMOUNT DR, ROAD LOG NUMBER 21603,
AT MILE POST 0 55, LYING IN SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 18 NORTH, RANGE
28 EAST, IN GRANT COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been requested by the two adjacent
developers to close Viewmount Dr to vehicular thru-traffic via installing gates at the point described above,
and Fire District 5 & the Grant County Sheriffs Office will be able to open the gates for emergency access,
and this closure shall not take place until Castlewood Dr from Dream St to Scenic Dr , and Scenic Or from
Castlewood Dr to Dune Lake Rd are constructed and accepted by the County, and the County reserves the
right to re -open this road as deemed necessary by the County Road Engineer, and
WHEREAS, the petitioning developers shall be responsible for installing the gates, signs and
supplying to the county one set of replacement gates, all costs to be borne by the petitioners,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing on the matter shall be held in the
Hearing Room of the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington located in the County
Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington on (March 21, 2006 at 2:30p.m.)
