RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION No. 06-/�2/-CC
D6:CLARING PROPERTY SURPLUS,
GRANT COUNTY HOMES, LOCATED
AT 836 E. PLUM STREET, S 23, T 19 N, R
28 E, W M (PARCEL NO. 91.539001) AND
ORDERING THE SALE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has the authority to surplus real property through RCW
36.34, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that it is in the best interests of Grant
County and the taxing districts and the people thereof that 836 E Plum Street, S 23, T 19 N, R 28 E, W M (Parcel
No.. 91539001) should be declared surplus in the manner prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Board did publish notice of the Board of County Coninussioners intention to
declare surplus the described real estate once a week during two successive weeks in the County's paper of record,
Both posting and the date of first publication occurred at least ten days before the day set for the hearing, and
WHEREAS, the hearing on the proposal to declare surplus 836 E. Plum Street, S 23, T 19 N, R 28 E, W M
(Parcel No.. 91539001) occurred in the County Commissioner's Hearing Room, located in the County Courthouse,
35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA, on February 14, 2006 at 3 00 pm and any taxpayers in person or by counsel will be
allowed to submit evidence and submit an argument, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County Commissioners finds
that it is in the best interests of the county and the taxing districts and the people thereof that 836 E Plum Street, S
23, T 19 N, R 28 E, W M (Parcel No 91539001) belonging to the county shall be declared surplus and ordered the
sale thereof
