SURPLUS AND SELLING LOTS 1NOTICE OF HEARING
THROUGH 7, BLOCK 2, QUINCY
ORIGINAL PLAT
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has the authority to sell real property through
RCW 36 34, and
WHEREAS, the property is described as Lots 1 through 7, Quincy Original Plat, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that it is in the best interests of Grant
County and the taxing districts and the people thereof that said lots belonging to the county should be
declared surplus sold under the limitations and restrictions and in the manner prescribed by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the hearing on the proposal to declare surplus and sell
Lots 1 through 7 of the Quincy Original Plat, shall occur in the County Commissioner's Hearing Room,
located in the County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA, at 2:00 P.M. on November 1. 2004, and
any taxpayers in person or by counsel will be allowed to submit evidence and submit an argument, but the
board may limit the number to three on a side, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the BOCC directs the County Road Engineer to publish notice of
the Board of County Commissioner's intention to declare surplus and sell the described real estate once each
week during two successive weeks in the legal newspaper of general circulation in the county, and to post
the notice in a conspicuous place in the courthouse and on the site itself Both posting and the date of first
publication must be at least ten days before the day set for the hearing.
