HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 06-181-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington IN THE MATTER OF TRANSFERING JURISDICTION OF A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD R -NW FROM MILE POST .25 TO MILE POST .75 TO THE CITY OF QUINCY T rottir RESOLUTION NO. 2006- /9/ -CC JURISDICTION TRANSFER Whereas, in accordance with RCW 39.33.010, Grant County, a political subdivision of the State of Washington, acting through its Board of Commissioners, recognizes the benefits of transferring jurisdiction of a certain portion of County Road R - NW as described below and declares its intentions to transfer title to real property to the City of Quincy, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington. LEGAL DISCRIPTION: That portion of County Road R -NW also known as County Road Log No. 30250, from mile post .25 thence south to mile post .75. Lying along the boundary common to Section 13, Township 20 North, Range 23 East, and Section 18, Township 20 North, Range 24 East, Willamette Meridian, State of Washington WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works and the City of Quincy have previously agreed to work towards the transfer of jurisdiction of a portion of said road, and WHEREAS, the County Engineer recommends the Grant County Board of Commissioners proceed with the jurisdiction transfer as mutually agreed, per 39.33.010, and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Grant County Board of Commissioners transfer jurisdiction of a portion of County Road known as Road R - NW to the City of Quincy to become effective upon the date the City of Quincy executes a resolution accepting jurisdiction of said road.
