IN THE MATTER OF INITIATING COUNTY ROAD
PROJECT DESIGNATED AS CRP NO. 06-08 ( Resolution No.
WHEREAS, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Airport St. (Port of Ephrata), State Road Log No. N/A
from milepost 0 00 To Milepost 2 00 be improved as follows
This project will extend Airport Street from Grumman Ave to SR 282 (at the current intersection of SR 282 & A -NW Rd)
by constructing a 34' wide BST surfaced road and upgrading the existing intersection on SR 282 by adding left -turn lanes,
right -turn deceleration lane for Airport Street, right -turn pocket for A -N W and illumination This project will be
approximately 2 00 miles long and is located inside the Port of Ephrata
The County's contributing to a portion of the intersection improvements on SR 282 since it will have a direct benefit for
County Road A -N W.
This project is hereby declared to be a public necessity and the County Road Engineer is hereby ordered and authorized
to report and proceed thereon as by law provided (RCW 36 75 050, 36 80 030,36 80 070) (Optional References)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget
and based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown
