RESOLUTION TO DECLARE SURPLUS RESOLUTION No. 06-/,fl-CC
GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAND
RAIL.
WHEREAS, The Grant County Sheriffs Office owns a 2004 Sand Rail (vin# WA98209871);
WHEREAS, The Sheriffs Office has determined that this Sand Rail does not suit the needs of
the ORV Deputies working in the field;
WHEREAS, The Sheriff's Office is requesting that the Board of County Commissioners declare
surplus this Sand Rail,
WHEREAS, It is the intent of the Sheriff's Office to trade this Sand Rail for a 2006 Arctic Cat
Prowler;
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Arctic Cat is more practical, cost effective, efficient,
and an overall better too] for the ORV Deputies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above named Sand Rail with the intent to trade it for a 2006
Arctic Cat Prowler of equal value.
