HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 06-151-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION No. 06-/S/ -CC ADOPTING THF. 2006 GRANT COUNTY CAPITAL FACILITIES PLAN WHEREAS, The Board of Grant County Commissioners desires to annually update the Grant County Capital Facilities Plan; and WHEREAS, the Capital Facilities Plan is a planning document to be used in setting policy and establishing priorities for capital facilities projects. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of Grant County Commissioners hereby adopts the attached 2006 Grant County Capital Facilities Plan. DATED this / _day of 2006. Vasquez Darryl Pheasant, Treasurer Ken Kunes, Clerk The hearing was originally continued to April 18 at 3:00 pm by LeRoy Allison. He didn't know that 2 of the Commissioners were not going to be in that day. The Clerk of the Board notified those who were in attendance to the April 11 meeting that it was continued to April 17, 2006 at 4 00 pm instead. The Commissioners submitted for the record a letter from William L. Varney, Auditor, regarding the definition of capital projects that were allowed under the first and second '/4 % real estate excise tax (REET). Darryl Pheasant, Treasurer, spoke of the definition of "park" for the Fairgrounds, this could release more REET funds. Commissioner Allison moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing, Commissioner Moore seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance, Commissioner Allison moved to approve the plan as presented including Solid Waste and suggested language by William L Varney, Auditor. Commissioner Moore seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned.
