BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION No. 05-/q j CC
A RESOLUTION relating to a budget extension in the 2005 budget of the Grant County
Sheriffs Department (Fund # 001, Department #114)from a WASPC Grant.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Grant County
Commissioners that a WASPC Grant has been made available for the 2005 budget of Grant County
Sheriff s Department (Fund # 001, Department #114)in the total amount of $4,000.00; and
WHEREAS, RCW 36.40.100 authorizes supplemental appropriations from the WASPC
Grant after publication of notice of the time and date of the meeting at which the supplemental
appropriation resolution will be adopted, and the amount of the appropriation, once each week, for
two (2) consecutive weeks prior to such meeting in the official newspaper of the county; and
WHEREAS, publication of the requisite legal notice was made in the Columbia Basin
Herald newspaper of Grant County on February 22 and 28, 2005 and said public meeting was held in
the Grant County Commissioners' Office, Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata Washington,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, THAT the 2005
budget of the Grant County Sheriff s Department (Fund # 001, Department #114)from a WASPC
Grant in the following categories and items according to the attached budget.
