IN THE MATTER OF CHANGING THE RESOLUTION No. 05 -o -73 -7 --CC
NAME OF CERTAIN ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 10. 16.010 of the Grant County Code requires authorization from
the Board of County Commissioners to change the name of certain roads; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined the renaming certain
county roads in the best interest of Grant County,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the names of certain
county roads be changed in accordance with the following list:

Dear Commissioners:
Attached please find a proposed resolution for roadway designation change to correct the
grid system designation per a request of public works and to also to correct their road
logs.
Dory Lane is part of a recorded plat and was originally named Walker RD. Walker Rd is
a duplication of road name with in the same community. County RD I NE was changed
from RD 1.5 NE to Rd I NE has been signed this way for several years. This was done
without a resolution of change.
These changes will not affect any address changes for the property owners.

Commissioners approved your recommendation for road name changes to Dory Lane and Rd I
NE.
