RESOLUTION Contributing funds to the RESOLUTION No. 04- /-;2> -CC
Odessa Sub Area Aquifer Project
WHEREAS, efforts are being made to solve the Odessa Sub -Area Aquifer Depletion,
and
WHEREAS, the Columbia Basin Development League must obtain funding for this
Columbia Basin Project for administrative costs as well as for studies that are needed to proceed
with this project, and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Commissioners want to contribute economic
enhancement dollars for this vital economic project, and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners believe this contribution will create a long term
economic benefit to the county, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPROVES THE FOLLOWING FUNDING REQUEST.
$20,000.00 to the Columbia Basin Development League as a contribution to the
Odessa Sub -Area Aquifer Project.
