GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 2001 -69 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure of funds for the following department/fund:
Current Expense Fund 11001, Elections Dept. X1108 ,
together with a budget therefor, declaring an emergency; and
setting a public hearing date. all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been broughtto the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners of Grant. County that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget, therefor, in
the estimated amount .of $__t37,052 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require that such funds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not have been reasonably foreseen
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the afore-
mentioned facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the following
department/fund: Current Expense Fund_ 110.01_, Elections Dept.11108
together with a budget therefor,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
May 21, 2001 in the Grant County Commissioners' Office,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephra-a W:iShington, at the hour of
1:00 P.M.
