Box 37, C Street NW Ephrata, WA 98823 Re: Administrative Board Creation Grant County Commissioners F-vAY 17 2001 5 Z4r- Dear Commissioners: At the monthly meeting of the Columbia Basin GWMA Executive Board held on April 26, 2001, discussion was held regarding the administrative needs of GWMA in the future. As GWMA is nearing the time when it's Plan will be submitted, the necessity for having frequent meetings by the GWAC's and Executive Board will diminish. In order to reduce the difficulty, expense, and time of assembling a full Executive Board in order to conduct GWMA business, it was determined that a need existed to create an Administrative Board. This Administrative Board will consist of six members. One Commissioner from each County will serve on the Board, and a second person from each County would be selected to serve by the Commissioners (preferably a current member of the Executive Board). The Executive Board would continue to exist as well as the GWAC's, but would meet on an "as needed" basis to review, critique, and adjust the direction and progress of GWMA. The Administrative Board would meet monthly and conduct the general business of GWMA. We are asking for a formal approval of this action from the Commissioners in the form of a Resolution. Please notify me as soon as that has been done. Thank you for your help in this matter. Sincerely, Lynn F.
