RESOLUTION NUMBER 2001 -3 -CC
Establishing an Advisory Board for
New Hope Domestic Violence &
Sexual Assault Services
WHEREAS, Grant County New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual
Assault Services is becoming an accredited sexual assault program, and
WHEREAS, as one of the requirements for becoming an accredited
sexual assault program, the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy requires that
the program have an Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, an Advisory Board would be able to solicit community
input regarding service delivery and needs of the County, and
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners have been requested to
provide the authority for an Advisory Board to be appointed,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Grant
County Commissioners by this Resolution do provide the authority for the
New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services Advisory Board
to be established, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the New Hope Domestic
Violence and Sexual Assault Services Advisory Board shall consist of from
seven to nine members.
