Order Granting Vacation of a Certain County Road and Right -of -Way

IN THE MATTER OF Ir Resolution No. 2001 -11 -cc
VACATING A PORTION OF ORDER GRANTING VACATION
A CERTAIN COUNTY RCAD
AND RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, The Board of County Comrrissioners of Grant County, Washington, were
petitioned to vacate certain portions of a County road and right-of-way described as
follows:
Legal description: That portion of County Road known as Chanute Street lying in Section
32 Township 20 North, Range 28 East, W.M., all lying northerly of
Randolph Road and wester\, of 32nd Avenue.
WHEREAS, per RCW 36.86, a notice of hearing on the report for vacation and
abandonment was published in the County official newspaper at least once a week for
two consecutive weeks preceding the date fixed for the hearing, and a copy of said
notice was posted for at least twenty day,. preceding the date fixed for hearing at each
termini of the County road or portion thereof h) t;e vacated or abandoned; and
WHEREAS, the Bcard of County Comm ssioners did consider the report given by the
County Road Engineer, together with any �,viden- e for or objection against said vacation
and abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the above described County road right-of-way is not useful as part of the
County road system and the public will be benefitted by thevacation and abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners vacates
and abandons all interest in the County roar (ird right-of-way described above.
