HomeMy WebLinkAboutCommissioners Proceedings - Commissioners - 20 (324)COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS Week of November 1, 2004 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m, with all the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners approved the request from Christine Price, Cooperative Extension, for the Out -of -State travel for Karen Lewis to attend training with the Environment Protection Agency. As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amount $508,835.30, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board, The Commissioners signed Resolution No. 04 -134 -CC declaring certain county -owned property surplus and ordering the sale there of; namely Parcel No. 312558 102 with a starting price of $107,336.00. The Commissioners signed Resolution No. 04 -135 -CC declaring certain county -owned property surplus and ordering the sale thereof; namely Parcel No. 312558 101 with a starting price of $99,545.00. The Commissioners signed Resolution No. 04 -136 -CC approving a preliminary plat of 32 acres into forty-nine lots located in a portion of section 17, township 19 north, range 29 East, WM, Grant County, WA for Willow Crest. The Commissioners signed a Lease Agreement between Grant County and Raymond and Loretta Mayer, to be paid a royalty fee of $0.25 per ton for rock crushing. The Commissioners approved the salary, wage, and/or position changes as recommended by Angie Clark, Human Resources Director, for Karla Krautsheid, Prosecuting Attorney; Hector Torres and Dorothy Black, Planning. The Commissioners signed the Payroll Final Register for the month of October, 2004. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until November 2, 2004. November 2, 2004 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m, with all the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners approved the request of Derek Pohle, PE, Director/County Engineer, Public Works Department, for the out-of-state travel for Jerome Wawers and Andy Booth to attend the Pacific Northwest Bridge Maintenance conference. Page 1 of 3 COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS Week of November 1, 2044 The Commissioners met with Derek Pohle, PE, Director/County Engineer, Public Works Department, regarding: Resolution — Solid Waste Rate change; Lease Agreement: Mayer Pit; EDA Project/Grant County EDC; Solid Waste Supervisor; Road Dist. No. 1 Truck Drivers: Lisa Friedrich & Matt Roduner; Mental Health: ER&R. The Commissioners signed Resolution No. 04 -137 -CC, which revised Resolution No. 03- 181 -CC, in the matter of revising the Grant County Solid Waste Management fund disposal fee schedule. The Commissioners approved the separation date of November 9, 2004 for Kris Cruz, Sheriff's Office. The Commissioners approved the salary, wage, and/or position changes as recommended by Angie Clark, Human Resources Director, for Bonnie Bright, WSU Extension. The Commissioners approved the recommendation of Angie Clark, Human Resources Director, for the temporary "out of class" pay for Megan Smith for the GIS Coordinator classification. The Commissioners met in executive session for one hour and ten minutes with legal counsel regarding litigation. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until November 3, 2004. November 3, 2004 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with all the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners approved the minutes of the October 11, 2004 session. The Commissioners approved the request of Al Holman, Fair and Facilities Manager, and the Fairgrounds Facility Advisory Committee for the name change of the "Artist Building" at the fairgrounds to the "Domestic Pets Building". November 5, 2004 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with all the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners approved the salary, wage, and/or position changes as recommended by Angie Clark, Human Resources Director, for Kenneth Lee, Superior Court. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until November 8, 2004.
