RESOLUTION No. 04-07�- CC
A RESOLUTION authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the
following department/fund: Law and Justice Fund # 1-' 1 Department #163, together with a
budget therefore, pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
of Grant County that emergency conditions require that an appropriation and expenditure of
funds be authorized for the above-mentioned departni-.:m fund, together with a budget therefore;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.140, Resolution No. 2004 -064 -CC was adopted on
May 3, 2004, and published in the Columbia Basin Herald on May 5 and 13, 2004, declaring an
emergency and stating the facts constituting the emergency and the estimated amount of funds
required to meet it, together with a notice of public hearing, and said public hearing was held
thereon where interested persons were allowed to app(-ar and be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that
an appropriation and expenditure of funds is hereby authorir,ed for the following
department/fund: Law and .Justice Fund #121, Department 4163, in the total sum of $43,700,
according to the attached budget.
This resolution is in the best interest of good government and shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
