RESOLUTION CORRECTING SCRIVENER'S RESOLUTION No. 04- 067 -SCC
ERRORS IN A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT
AMENDED PLAN OF THE GRANT COUNTY
DISTRICT COURT DISTRICTING
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 04 -057 -CC signed on April 6, 2004 contained scriveners'
errors which need to be corrected to be consistent with the legislative intent and action of the
BOCC in passing and adopting said resolution, Resolution No. 04 -057 -CC is repealed to the
extent that it is incompatible with this resolution; ,tnd
WHEREAS, the Grant County Commissioners did on the 26th day of July 1971, duly
adopt a resolution electing to make the provisions of R" A' 3.30 thru 3.74 applicable to Grant
County; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County District Court Districting Committee did on March 12,
2004 submit to the County Commissioners a amended olan in accordance with RCW 3.38; and
WHEREAS, said Commissioners did on April 6, 2404 call and hold a public hearing.
Pursuant to said hearing it is the Commissioners' linding that the District Court Districting
Committee Amended Plan conforms to the standards o " Chapter 3.30 thru 3.74 RCW, and is in
the best interest of the population; and
WHEREAS, the amended plan as recommend(d by the District Court Districting
Committee is as follows:
The boundary of the District Court shall be +grant County.
2. The number of District Courtjudges to be elected - two.
3. The location of the central office, records and courtrooms to be at the county seat,
Ephrata. Other courtrooms to be located at '\loses Lake and other cities or towns as
required by court business and where facilit ,es are available.
4. Other places in the District where the court ,hall sit: George, Coulee City, Royal City,
Mattawa, Soap Lake, Warden, Grand Coulce-Electric City, and elsewhere if
necessary to properly perform the wort, of the ( 'ourt and serve the people of the
County.
5. Number and location of District Court commissioners to be authorized, if any:
a. One District Court commissioner to hold court in Ephrata, Moses Lake, Royal
City, Mattawa, Soap Lake, and to travel to other cities for court as necessary.

6. District Court shall be organized into one district court department. Their shall be
one municipal R.C.W. 3.46 department for each of the following cities: Quincy,
Coulee City, Ephrata, Moses Lake, Grand Coulee, Warden, Royal City, Mattawa,
Soap Lake, George, Marlin/(Krupp), Wilson Crcek, Electric City and HartIine.
7. Name of Justice Court District — Grant Counth District Court.
8. Allocation of time and salary of each municipal judge who will serve part time in a
municipal department: Allocation of time and salary shall be determined by R,C.W.
3.46.090.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the above shall be the
amended and/or revised plan for the District Court District System in Grant County, and is found
by the Board of County Commissioners now to be in conformance with the standard established
by Chapter 3.30 thru 3.74 RCW and definitely in the bc-st interests and welfare of the people of
Grant County;
IT IS THEREFORE ADOPTED this 5"' day A May, 2004.
EFFECTIVE DATE: June I, 2004.
