RESOLUTION NUMBER 2001 -148 -cc
A RESOLUTION authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds
for the following department/fund: current Expense Fund #001, Misc.
General Government #125 —,together with a budget therefore,
pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of
County Commissioners of Grant County that emergency conditions require
that an appropriation and expenditure of funds be authorized for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget therefor; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.140, Resolution No. 2001 -131 -cc
Was duly adopted on August 13, 2001 , and published in the
llaily Herald on 8/31&9/7/01 declaring an
emergency and stating the facts constituting the emergency and the
estimated amount of funds required to meet it, together with a notice of
public hearing, and said public hearing was held thereon where interested
persons were allowed to appear and be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF
WASHINGTON, that an appropriation and expenditure of funds is hereby
authorized for the following department/fund: current Expense Fund #001
Misc.Gen. Government#1251n the total sum Of $ 90 non according to
the attached budget.
This resolution is in the best interests of good government and shall
take effect immediately upon its passage.

Subject: The enclosed brllingis in compliance with the service contract
between Paul StokerandAssociatesLLCand Grant Countyfor
services performed for the Columbia Basin GroundwaterManagement
Area. This billing is for the first period ofMay 15, 2001 to June 14,2W1.
The attached schedules outline phone and mileage expenses for
reimbursement.
The County should promptly request reimbursement from the GWMA
as has been the procedure taken on previous activities. Paul Stoker and
Associates LLC has a federal tax number of 912122255. All transactions
should be handled under this number, This biffmgis for consultant work
under a contract not an employee transaction. Please handle accordingly.
Further monthly billings will be forthcoming.
