RESOLUTION NUMBER 2001-166—CC
A RESOLUTION relating to a supplemental extension in the 2001 budget of the
SHERIFF'S DEPT. # 114, CURRENT EXPENSE FUND # 001
due to unanticipated state and/or federal funds.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Grant Commissioners
that unanticipated state and /or federal funds have been made available for the 2000 budget
of the SHERIFF'S DEPT. # 114, CURRENT EXPENSE FUND # 001
in the amount of $3,624
WHEREAS, RCW 36.40.100 authorizes supplemental appropriations from unanticipated
state and/or federal funds after publications of notice of the time and date of a public hearing at which
the supplemental appropriations resolution will be adopted, and the amount of the appropriation,
once each week, for two consecutive weeks prior to such public hearing in the official newspaper
of the county; and
WHEREAS, publication of the requisite legal notice was made in the Daily Herald
newspaper of Grant County on 10/12&19/01 and said public hearing was held
in the Grant County Commissioners' Office, Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the _20001_(year)budget of the
SHERIFF'S DEPT. # 114, CURRENT EXPENSE FUND # 001
supplemented and extended in the sum of $_3,624 _from

Dear Mr. Ponozzo:
We are beginning the process to amend your current STOP Formula Contract Number
F00-30320-020 to extend the end date of the contract for an additional three months.
This amendment will extend the contract period through September 30, 2001 and
provide an additional $3,624.00 for activities to be performed during these three
months. Your match requirement on these additional funds will be $1,207.
On the enclosed form, we need the following from you:
1. Provide a budget; 4
2. Provide a brief narrative and justification on the activities to be accomplished; and
3. If there will be a change from your original application in the program purpose areas.
Indicate the new program purpose areas for the budgeted activities.
Please return this information by February 16, 2001. If you would like me to forward
the electronic version of this form to you, please send me a request via e-mail. Upon
receipt of the completed information, I will finalize the amendment and mail two originals
to you for review and signatures.
