GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 2001-178-cC
A RESOLUTION authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds
for the following department/fund: current Expense Fund #001,
Disability Board Dept.#113 together with a budget therefore,
pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of
County Commissioners of Grant County that emergency conditions require
that an appropriation and expenditure of funds be authorized for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget therefor; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.140, Resolution No. 2001 -168 -cc
Was duly adopted on October 23,2001 , and published in the
Daily Herald on 11/2&9/01 declaring an
emergency and stating the facts constituting the emergency and the
estimated amount of funds required to meet it, together with a notice of
public hearing, and said public hearing was held thereon where interested
persons were allowed to appear and be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF
WASHINGTON, that an appropriation and expenditure of funds is hereby
authorized for the following department/fund: current Exp . Fund #001
Dig, Bd. Dept. #113 In the total sum of $ 625.00 according to
the attached budget.
This resolution is in the best interests of good government and shall
take effect immediately upon its passage.

RE: Disability Board Budget Extension

As was discussed with Bob Mosher this past Monday the Disability Board
budget is in need of an extension. The reason this budget has problems is
that at the budget time last year there were no members of the Board who
submitted Claims for Expenses. During the year the member from Electric
City has been submitting claims. Also for many years no Board member
made the choice to attend the yearly conference. This year one member
made the choice to attend, which cost $438.60 with mileage, motel, and
meals etc. They also had to send one person for a medical evaluation, which
was an unexpected cost. I would appreciate it if you would allow a budget
extension in the following amounts:
516.20.41.00 Professional Services $150.00
516.20.43.00 Travel $300.00
516.20.49.00 Miscellaneous $175.00
Total $625.00
