RESOLUTION NO. 2002 -162 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the establishment in the Auditors
DEPARTMENT # of an Employee Position
to be named Licensing/Recording_ Lead_ Deputy
WHEREAS, it has been called tc the attention of the Board
of Grant County Commissioners taat a new Employee position
should be established as set forth hereinabove; and
WHEREAS, it appears reasonable and necessary, pursuant to
the needs of the Auditors Office
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the
following Employee Position of Licensing/Recording Lead Deputy
is hereby created and estab]ish(,d in the Auditors
DEPARTMENT,# , and the Grant County
Auditor is hereby directed to e•,tablish said Employee
Position in the respective fund and department.
This resolution is in the best interests of good government
and shall take effect immed at(L .

I have hired Shannon Falstad to fill the new Licensing/Recording Lead Deputy position.
Shannon has been working as a Recording Deputy since January 1996. She has been
performing most of the duties of the new position since the resignation of my Chief
Deputy in June of this year. Shannon's current salary is $2,126 per month. I am
requesting to have her start in the new position as of Monday, October 21. The new
positions salary at 100% is $2,457 per month. Since she has worked here since 1996 and
has been doing most of the new job for almost 4 months, I am requesting permission to
start her at $2,211 per month, which is 90% of the salary.
I will proceed upon your approval.
