The purpose of this position, File Clerk, is to provide filing responsibilities for the Court and its staff. This position will replace the Clerk position that has remained open for several months, while District Court and the County assessed the needs of District Court. We understand that the employees of District Court have been very involved and provided input for this change. It has been decided that it is necessary to provide the File Clerk responsibilities immediately and as such, we will begin the recruiting process. The position has been evaluated and placed in Band 2 of the new Compensation Plan. We have, however, assigned a salary of $1853 in accordance with the previous pay schedule still in force for this office. This letter will serve to notify you of this change in position in District Court. I anticipate that the new position will be a bargaining unit position and thus covered by any future agreement to be negotiated between the Association and the Employer. Please contact me direct with questions. Thank you for your time and attention. Sin erely, Angi lark Director cc: Carol Crater, Chief Deputy Clerk Board of County Commissioners OCT 2 3 20
