GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 2002 -158 -CC
A RESOLUTION authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds
for the following department/fund: Economic Enhancement Fund X1113,
pA nrtment #155 , together with a budget therefore,
pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of
County Commissioners of Grant County that emergency conditions require
that an appropriation and expenditure of funds be authorized for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget therefor; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.140, Resolution No. 2002 -145 -CC
Was duly adopted on September 30, 2002 , and published in the _
Daily Herald on Oct. 11 & 13 , 02 declaring an
emergency and stating the facts constituting the emergency and the
estimated amount of funds required to meet it, together with a notice of
public hearing, and said public hearing was held thereon where interested
persons were allowed to appear and be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF
WASHINGTON, that an appropriation and expenditure of funds is hereby
authorized for the following department/fund: Economic Enhancement Fund #113
Department #155 In the total sum of $ is,, S?g according to
the attached budget.
This resolution is in the best interests of good government and shall
take effect immediately upon its passage.

Strategic Infrastructure Committee
Recommendations for Funding
WHEREAS, the Grant County Commissioners appointed the Strategic
Infrastructure Program Prioritization Process, and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners found it in the best interests of the County to set
up a committee to facilitate local coordination and communication, and
WHEREAS, the Strategic Infrastructure Committee has submitted
recommendations for funding of one request, and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners have approved 3 recommendations submitted by
the SIP Committee, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE GRANT
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPROVED THF; FOLLOWING FUNDING
REQUESTS:
Port of Warden, Strategic Infrastructure Proposal 2002-005
Country Morning Farms — Utility Hook -Up $32,000 Grant
Town of Coulee City, Strategic Infrastructure Proposal 2002-008
Water System Plan and Infrastructure Needs $26,528 Grant
Port of Quincy, Strategic Infrastructure Proposal 2002-009
� Inland Intermodal Industrial Park Marketing Study $25,000 Grant
These funds are to be utilized within one year of award or returned to the fund for use by
other recipients.
