GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2002 -152 -CC
IN THE MATTER OF; SR 243, Priest Rapids Dam to Vantage Vicinity,
WHEREAS, County of Grant, a political subdivision of the State of Washington, , is
the record owner of the following described lands:
All the county roads in Grant County, Washington;
AND WHEREAS, in the improvement of SR 243, Priest Rapids Dam to Vantage
Vicinity, by the Washington State Department of Transportation, it is necessary and advisable for
the State of Washington to acquire title to the following described portion of said lands for a
right of way for said highway:
All county right of way owned or otherwise acquired by the County of Grant,
whether recorded or unrecorded, located with the right of way of SR 243, Priest
Rapids Dam to Vantage Vicinity, as shown on sheet 13 of 17 sheets; AND
WHEREAS after due consideration by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Grant, it appears to the said board that is will be for the best interests of both the
County and the State of Washington that the County convey said lands to the State of
Washington by Quitclaim Deed for a consideration of mutual benefits.
NOW THEREFORE be it hereby resolved by the Board of Commissioners of the
County of Grant, State of Washington, that the County of Grant, in accordance with RCW
47.12.040 and through its Board of County Commissioners, execute and deliver said quitclaim
deed to the State of Washington, Department of Transportation.

QUITCLAIM DEED
State Route 243, Priest Rapids Dam to Vantage Vicinity,
The Grantor, GRANT COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Washington, for
and in consideration of mutual benefits, conveys and quitclaims to the State of
Washington the following described real estate, and any after acquired interest therein,
situated in Grant County, in the State of Washington, to the same extent and purpose
as if the rights herein granted had been acquired under Eminent Domain statutes of the
State of Washington:
All county right of way owned or otherwise acquired by the county of
Grant, whether recorded or unrecorded, located with the right of way of
SR 243, Priest Rapids Dam to Vantage Vicinity;
The specific details concerning all of which are to be found on sheet 13 of 17 sheets in
that crtain map of definite location now on file in the office of the Secretary of
Transportation at Olympia as authorized by legislative act, revised January 11, 2002.
It is understood and agreed that delivery of this deed is hereby tendered and that
the terms and obligations hereof shall not become binding upon the State of
