GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2002 -153 -cc
IN THE MATTER OF; SR 26, BEVERLY FLATS TO RED ROCK COULEE;
WHEREAS, County of Grant, a political subdivision of the State of Washington,..., is
the record owner of the following described lands
All the county roads in Grant County, Washington;
AND WHEREAS, in the improvement of SR26, Beverly Flats To Red Rock Coulee, by
the Washington State Department of Transportation, it is necessary and advisable for the State of
Washington to acquire title to the following described portion of said lands for a right of way for
said highway:
All county right of way owned or otherwise acquired by the County of Grant,
whether recorded or unrecorded, located within the right of way of SR 26,
Beverly Flats To Red Rock Coulee, as shown on sheet 8 of 20 sheets; AND
WHEREAS after due consideration by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Grant, it appears to the said board that it will be for the best interests of both the
County and the State of Washington that the County convey said lands to the State of
Washington by Quitclaim Deed for a consideration of mutual benefits.
NOW THEREFORE be it hereby resolved by the Board of Commissioners of the
County of Grant, State of Washington, that the County of Grant, in accordance with RCW
47.12.040 and through its Board of County Commissioners, execute and deliver said quitclaim
deed to the State of Washington, Department of Transportation.

QUITCLAIM DEED
State Route 26, Beverly Flats to Red Rock Coulee;
The Grantor, GRANT COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of
Washington, for and in consideration of Mutual Benefits, hereby conveys and quitclaims
to the State of Washington, the following described real estate and any after acquired
interest therein, situated in Grant County, in the State of Washington, to the same
extent and purpose as if the rights herein granted had been acquired under Eminent
Domain statutes of the State of Washington:
All county right of way owned or otherwise acquired by the County of
Grant, whether recorded or unrecorded, located with the right of way of
SR 26, Beverly Flats to Red Rock Coulee;
The specific details concerning all of which are to be found on sheets 8 of 20 sheets in
that certain map of definite location now on file in the office of the Secretary of
Transportation at Olympia and bearing date of approval December 22, 1953, revised
July 12, 2002.
It is understood and agreed that delivery of this deed is hereby tendered and that
the terms and obligations hereof shall not become binding upon the State of
Washington unless and until accepted and approved hereon in writing for the State of
Washington, Department of Transportation, by the Director of Real Estate Services,
