RESOLUTION No. 04- 053 -CC
WHEREAS, the Moses Lake Molahiettes has brought great honor and recognition to the
Moses Lake High School, the City of Moses Lake, and Grant County, and
WHEREAS, the Molahiettes are a great example of all that is good and wholesome in
the youth of Grant County, and
WHEREAS, the Molahiettes have shown what dedication and determination in striving
to accomplish goals can do, and
WHEREAS, the Molahiettes the attained State recognition by winning the state
tournament after scoring a superior and taking home the state title, and;
WHEREAS, the Molahiettes have shown perseverance throughout a year long process
and attained National recognition by winning the USA High School Dance/Drill National title in
the category of high kick, and
WHEREAS, the Molahiettes received judges recognition award, one of three given to
three teams at the entire National competition.
WHEREAS, Grant County wants to recognize and applaud the example of leadership the
Molahiettes have exhibited to today's youth,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners and all the citizens of Grant County thank them for representing our County so
well and congratulate them on alob well done.
