IN THE MATTER OF SELLING LOT 2 AND Resolution No. 2004-00 -CC
LOT 3 OF THE GCPWD SHORT PLAT NO. NOTICE OF HEARING
1 (FORMERLY FARM UNIT 64, BLOCK 75)
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has the authority to sell real property through
RCW 36.34, and
WHEREAS, the property is described as Lot 2 and Lot 3, GCPWD Short Plat No. 1, (formerly Farm
Unit 64, Block 75, Columbia Basin Irrigation Project), and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that it is in the best interests of Grant
County and the taxing districts and the people thereof that said lots belonging to the county should be sold
under the limitations and restrictions and in the manner prescribed by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the hearing on the proposal to sell Lot2 and Lot 3 of the
GCPWD Short Plat No. 1 shall occur in the County Commissioner's Hearing Room, located in the County
Courthouse, 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA, at 2:00 P.M. on March 30, 2004, and any taxpayers to person
or by counsel will be allowed to submit evidence and submit an argument, but the board may limit the
number to three on a side, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the BOCC directs the County Road Engineer to publish notice of
the BOCC's intention to sell the described real estate once each week during two successive weeks in a legal
newspaper of general circulation in the county, and to post the notice in a conspicuous place in the
courthouse an on the sites themselves Both posting and the date of first publication must be at least ten days
before the day set for the hearing.
