GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO.: 04 -010 -CC
A Resolution rescinding amendments to the Grant County
Comprehensive Plan for the 2002 Amendment Cycle Until
Proper Legal Notice has been Given and a New Public Hearing
Conducted
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County intends to
comply fully with the laws and regulations of the State of Washington, and-,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County adopted a Growth
Management Act compliant Comprehensive Land Use Plan in September of 1999, and;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County adopted Resolution
No. 03 -151 -CC amending the Grant County Comprehensive Plan on November 10, 2003 without
proper legal notice being published as required by Chapter 25.12 of the Grant County Unified
Development Code and Chapter U of the Grant County Comprehensive Plan and;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the public use and
interest will be lawfully served by holding another public hearing to consider these proposed
Comprehensive Plan Amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners of
Grant County do hereby rescind Resolution No 03 -151 -CC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of Grant
County will conduct another public hearing with regards to these amendments on January 28,
2004
