GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 2002-136 -CC
A resolution accepting City of Moses Lake Ordinance No. 2093 adjusting
corporate boundaries of the municipality pursuant to RCW 36A.21.210
WHEREAS, the City of Moses Lake has provided Grant County with
a copy of City Ordinance No. 2093 adjusting corporate boundaries of the
municipality pursuant to RCW 36A.21.210, and
WHEREAS, the right-of-way so adjusted is located adjacent to the
ASPI Commercial Park South Short Plat and Patton Boulevard, and
WHEREAS, in order for this transfer of right-of-way to be complete,
Grant County must adopt a similar resolution, and
WHEREAS, Grant County is willing to accept Ordinance No. 2093
adjusting corporate boundaries of the municipality,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that Grant
County does by this resolution accept Ordinance No. 2093 of the City of
Moses Lake adjusting corporate boundaries as attached hereto.

AN ORDINANCE ADJUSTING CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF THE MUNICIPAL-
ITY PURSUANT TO RCW 35A.21.210
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The municipal boundaries of the City of Moses Lake are adjusted to disincorporate the following
property upon the adoption of a similar ordinance by the Grant County Commissioners. The City of Moses
Lake shall convey its interest in the following properties and the properties shall be fully excluded from the
corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake and shall be maintained as right-of-way by Grant County,
Washington:
A parcel of land in the SW 1/4 of Section 4, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant
County, Washington, more fully described as follows:
Commencing at the south quarter corner of said Section 4, a U.S.B.R. brass cap monument;
thence South 89°31'23" West, 559.05 feet to the east right-of-way of Patton Boulevard, the True
Point of Beginning, said point bears North 89031'23" East, 31.61 feet from a 2 Y2" brass cap in
monument case marking the centerline of Patton Boulevard; thence North 18054'48" West along
the east right-of-wayof said Patton Boulevard, 844.30 feet; thence leaving said right-of-way, North
89028'04" East, 10.54 feet; thence South 18°54'48" East parallel with the east right-of-way of said
Patton Boulevard, 254.32feet; thence South 22°16'48" East, 170.29 feet; thence South 18054'48"
East, 210.78 feet; thence South 71003'39" West, 10.00 feet; thence South 18°54'48" East, 209.21
feet to a point on the south line of said Section 4; thence South 89031'23" West, 10.54 feet to the
True Point of Beginning; said tract contains 0.26 acres of land, more or less.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days after its passage and publication of
its summary as provided by law.
Adopted by the City Council and signed by its Mayor on August 27, 2002.

City of Moses City Council Meeting on August 27, 2002. At this meeting the
City Council adopted the second reading of the Ordinance for the Corporate
Boundary Change on Patton Blvd. The Ordinance becomes law 5 days after
publishing which is September 5, 2002.
Please let me know what the process and time frame is for Grant County
approval of this Boundary Change. Your consideration is appreciated. Permits
for Mountain States Developers to proceed with construction are being held
pending resolution of this issue.
