HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 02-107-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington !I a IN THE MATTER OF VACATING A I Resolution No. 2002 -107 -CC PORTION OF A CERTAIN COUNTY INTENTION TO VACATE AND ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY I NOTICE OF HEARING WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, considers a certain county road right-of-way useless and that the public would be benefitted by its vacation and abandonment, and by this resolution entered upon its minutes, now declares its intention to vacate and abandon a certain county road right-of-way described as follows: Legal description: A 60 foot wide right of way laying parallel and adjacent to the East line of the West Canal Right of Way as shown on the Final Farm Unit Plat of Irrigation Block 75, Farm Unit 151, beginning on the West line and ending 30 feet north of the South line of the West half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 19 North. Range 24 East W.M. And also a 60 foot wide right of way laying 30 feet on either side of the following described centerline: beginning at the West Quarter of Section 13, Township 19 North, Range 23 East W.M. ,thence south along the east line of said section to the Northerly Right of Way of the West Canal as shown on the Final Farm Unit Plat of Irrigation Block 75, Farm Unit 109 and Farm Unit 151. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that consideration should be given to vacating portions of certain County roads and rights-of-way and directs the County Road Engineer to prepare a report on said vacation and abandonment.. NOW, THEREFORE„ BE 1T RESOLVED that a public hearing on the report and other related matters shall be held in the Hearing Room of the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, located in the County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 13, 2002.
