Order Granting Vacation of a Certain County Road Right -of -Way

IN THE MATTER OF VACATING
A CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD Resolution No. 2003-015—CC
RIGHT-OF-WAY ORDER GRANTING VACATION
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, considered a certain county
road right-of-way useless, and by this resolution entered upon its minutes, declared its intention to vacate and abandon
a certain county road right-of-way described as follows'
Legal description: A 30 foot right-of-way as shown on the south side of Lot #4, Astro Acres II
Phase II in Section 34, Township 19 North, Range 29 East, W.M.
WHEREAS, a notice ofhearing on the report for vacation and abandonment was published in the county official
newspaper at least once a week for two consecutive weeks preceding the date fixed for the hearing, and a copy of said
notice was posted for at least twenty days preceding the date fixed for hearing at each termini of the county road or
portion thereof to be vacated or abandoned; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did consider the report given by the County Road Engineer,
together with any evidence for or objection against said vacation and abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the above described county road right-of-way is not useful as part of the county road system and
the public will be benefitted by the vacation and abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners vacates and abandons al I
interest in the County road right-of-way described above; EXCEPT an easement along the vacated right-of-way to
accommodate existing power lines, communications lines and other franchigedbmcllor permitted pVhlic,gnd private
