REALIGNING VOTING PRECINCTS ) VOTING PRECINCT CHANGES
TO CONFORM TO NEW LEGISLATIVE) WESTSLOPE 1 & WESTSLOPE 2
AND GRANT COUNTY COMMISSIONER)
DISTRICT BOUNDARIES ) RESOLUTIONNO.03-087-CC
WHEREAS, the County Auditor has advised the County Commissioners that the present
legal descriptions of voting precincts Westslope 1 and Westslope 2 did not follow the
intended boundaries. This legal now follows the intended boundaries.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT:
(1) The new legal description for Westslope 1 and Westslope 2 is attached as
described in Exhibit "A"
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall take effect
And the Grant County Auditor shall take the necessary steps to implement this
Resolution.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that all resolutions in conflict with this resolution
are hereby repealed.

WESTSLOPE I
Beginning at the northwest corner of Section 14, Township 17, Range 23, then following
east 8 miles to the northeast corner of Section 13, Township 17, Range 24, then following
south 1 mile to intersect with road 9, then following the south side of Road 9
southeasterly to the point where road 9 intersects with road G.5, then following the west
side of road G.5 south to intersect with Road 10, then following the south side of Road 10
east to the middle west portion of Section 19, Township 17, Range 25 and Road F, then
following the west side of Road F south 2 %x miles to Road 12, then following the north
side of Road 12 west 8 miles to the northeast corner of Section 3, Township 16, Range 24
and Road N, then following south on Road N, 2 miles to the southeast corner of Section
10, Township 16, Range 24, then following west 6 miles to the southwest corner of
Section 11, Township 16, Range 23, then following north 6 miles and the point of origin.
WESTSLOPE 2
Beginning at the northeast comer of Section 4, Township 17, Range 26; thence following
west 9 miles to the northwest corner of Section 6, Township 17, Range 25; thence going
south 3 miles to intersect with Road 9; thence following the north side of Road 9 in a
southeasterly direction to where Road 9 intersects with Road G.5, then following the east
side of Road G.5 south to intersect with Road 10; thence following Road 10 to the
middle west portion of Section 19, Township 17, Range 25 and Road F; thence
following the east side of Road F south to Road 12, thence following the north side of
Road 12 east 3 miles to Dodson Road; thence following Dodson Road north 6 miles to
point of origin.
The original legal description did not follow the intended boundaries of Westslope 1 & 2
Precincts. This legal now follows the intended boundaries.
