RESOLUTION - Notice of Hearing RESOLUTION No. 03 - CC
IN THE MATTER OF
VACATING A PORTION OF A CERTAIN
COUNTY ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, considers a certain
county road right-of-way useless and that the public would be benefitted by its vacation and abandonment,
and by this resolution entered upon its minutes, now declares its intention to vacate and abandon a certain
county road right-of-way described as follows:
Legal description: That portion of the County Road known as Hunter Canyon Road, also known as
County Road Number 34100, from milepost 0.36, at the west edge of Frey Road right of way, to mile
post 1.03, at the end of Hunter Canyon Road, lying in a portion of the WI/2 of the WI/2 of Section 3,
Township 21 North, Range 28 East W.M., and a portion lying within Block 2 ofthe First Addition to
Ephrata Orchards, Book A page 12, Plat Book of Grant County, Washington ( See attached Exhibit
"A")
WHEREAS, the Board ofCounty Commissioners has determined that consideration should be given
to vacating portions of certain County roads and rights-of-way and directs the County Road Engineer to
prepare a report on said vacation and abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT a public hearing on the report and other
related matters shall be held in the Hearing Room of the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County
, Washington, located in the County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September
2, 2003.
