IN THE MATTER OF CHANGING THE RESOLUTION No. 03-12,1 -CC
NAME OF CERTAIN ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 10.16.010 of the Grant County Code requires authorization from
the Board of County Commissioners to change the name of certain roads; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined the renaming certain
county roads in the best interest of Grant County,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the names of certain
county roads be changed in accordance with the following list:

I am pleased to inform you that at their regular August 26, 2003, meeting, the Board of County
Commissioners approved Resolution Number 03 -121 -CC, in the matter of changing the names of
certain roads.
I am enclosing, for your record, a copy of the Resolution.

Dear Commissioners:
Attached please find a proposed resolution of roadway designation change to clear up
problems with a new finalized plat before they are occupied by residences. The
roadways are on plats that have been finalized and filed with the Auditors Office with an
error in road names.
Since the roadways are named in error and did not follow the grid system for the naming
of county roads, we therefore propose the plat follow the grid system to correct the road
names. (See attached resolution proposal)
Please consider these changes to justify correct roadway signs to support the addressing
being issued.
